Use 2x when you need a modest resolution boost with fewer artifacts. Use 4x when the source is clean enough and you need a much larger image for design, print prep or close cropping.

Will AI upscaling fix blurry text or faces?

It can make edges look sharper, but it cannot guarantee accurate missing detail. If your original text or face is too blurred, inspect the result carefully before treating it as factual or print-ready.

What image formats can you upload?

You can upload JPG, PNG or WebP images. The export is saved as PNG or JPEG depending on what the browser can preserve for your file.

Why is AI mode slower than Fast Canvas?

AI mode runs a neural network on your device, so processing depends on your image size, browser and GPU support. Fast Canvas mode skips the AI model, so it is quicker but less detailed.

Can you upscale anime art or game images?

Yes. Real-CUGAN is especially relevant for illustrations, anime-style art and sharp graphic edges. For pixel art, compare AI with Fast Canvas because some artwork looks better when the original pixel structure is preserved.
